Take Back What the Billionaires Have Stolen!

Build the General Strike: Organize Workers Assemblies

A mass strike wave has begun in the US, the largest since the 1930's. Workers have already launched General Strikes--on Jan.23 and Jan.30. We have had a first victory in forcing ICE to retreat in Minneapolis and Minnesota.

Across the country, people are forming Workers Assemblies preparing for a national strike, May 1. On Feb. 15, 300 workers in Minneapolis formed a Workers Assembly, joined in the call for a May Day strike, adopted demands and debated a proposal to run candidates independent of the two parties of the capitalists. In Detroit, Rochester and elsewhere other Workers Assemblies have formed to carry out direct democracy over our own movement. We in NJ and NY must join in this nationwide process to organize participation in a May 1 strike.

Join the Online Organizing Conference March 29 - 3:00 PM

Democratically decide on demands for May 1--what we are FOR, like free education, medical care and housing, not just what we are against. We will also decide whether and how to select independent candidates to run on our demands, responsible to Workers' Assemblies.

We will make plans for a Mass Rally & Workers Assembly May 1
