Port Newark is the main transit point for US weapons for the Gaza genocide-- which has NOT ended! As the General Strikes and transport blockades in Italy have shown, by uniting the labor and Gaza solidarity movements we can block arms to Israel, end the genocide, and win the world we want. European workers are in action. They need our solidarity in the US. Worldwide unity against the billionaire's genocidal war on workers!
As in Italy, union members and union leaders can have a central role in mobilizing action. Help us get them moving! But we need everyone--unorganized workers, students, immigrant rights groups, anti-war groups. Unity is key to victory!
On October 6 a group of NY/NJ activists organized a ten-car caravan to Port Newark in solidarity with the strikes in Italy. But to shut down arms shipments we must have a much larger caravan. Our goal is to get commitments from at least 50 people before we launch the next legal car flotilla. With 50 cars we can legally block arms shipments at the port.
Send an email, by Sunday, November 9, with your name and phone to volunteer for the next legal car flotilla to Port Newark, which will be during a weekday. We will then contact volunteers about the details of when and where the flotilla will be launched: unitycall2025@proton.me
